Many people use this fast diet to lose weight in 3 days. However, most people gain back the lost weight after the diet ended. This is the famous "yo-yo effect".

Caution: This diet should never be used for more than 3 days. This diet is very effective but often causes a "yo-yo" effect - it's not a good eating habit to lose weight.

DAY 1 of the 3 day diet
Breakfast Lunch Dinner

Black coffee or tea (with sweetener) or natural grapefruit juice
1 toast with butter
Water


½ portion of tuna
1 toast
Black coffee or tea (with sweetener)
Water

½ portion of lean meat (chicken)
1 cup of of green beans
1 cup carrots
1 cup of vanilla ice cream
1 medium apple
Black coffee or tea (with sweetener)
Water

 

DAY 2 of the 3 day diet
Breakfast Lunch Dinner

Black coffee or tea (with sweetener) and water
1 Egg (any cooking)
1 toast
1 banana

1 cup cottage cheese or tuna
5 crackers biscuits
Coffee or black tea (with sweetener) and water

2 pieces of meat from cows
½ cup of carrots
1 cup of broccoli or cabbage
1 banana
½ cup of vanilla ice cream
Coffee or black tea (with sweetener) and water


DAY 3 of the 3 day diet
Breakfast Lunch Dinner

Black coffee or tea (with sweetener) and water
5 crackers biscuits
1 slice of cheddar cheese
1 apple

1 hard boiled egg
1 toast
Black coffee or tea (with sweetener) and water

1 cup of tuna
1 cup of carrot
1 cup of cauliflower
1 cup of melon
½ cup of vanilla ice cream
Black coffee or tea (with sweetener) and water


Condiments allowed

- Lemon (optional)
- A little salt and / or pepper (and vice versa)
- Mustard

Foods that can be substituted in the 3 Day Diet
Those who wish can replace these foods in the 3 day diet:
- Orange instead of grapefruit

- Tuna instead of white cheese (and vice versa)
- Yogurt instead of ice cream
- Cauliflower instead of broccoli (and vice versa)

- Green beans instead of broccoli or cauliflower
- Toast of bread instead of 5 cookies (and vice versa).
